We are proud to announce that EKC2025 has been successfully completed.
This year's Europe-Korea Conference on Science and Technology 2025 (EKC2025) which was held from August 25 till 28, 2025 at Technische Universität Wien brought together 1016 participants, 475 paper presentations, 125 posters, and over 100 sessions including various special meetings, e.g. Inaugural meeting and MOU signing ceremonies and others. The Industry Forum with focused sessions on Automation & Mobility, Life Science, Hydrogen, attracted more than 270 participations from 18 countries and hosted 148 B2B meetings. This made EKC2025 the largest EKC in history and a meaningful platform for exchange among researcher and industry experts from Europe, Korea and beyond.
Moreover, with Korea becoming an associate member of Horizon Europe this year, enabling participation in EU research projects, many attendees likely joined for networking and other purposes.
